- Yes — a year-round hot tub on the deck, along with a fire pit, string lights, and a propane grill.
- Where is the house?
- In Canyon Lake, Texas, in the Hill Country between the lake and the Guadalupe River, about twenty minutes from New Braunfels and Gruene.
- How close is it to the Guadalupe River and the lake?
- Tubing on the Guadalupe is about ten minutes away, and Overlook Park at the dam — where you can walk the top of the dam — is about fifteen.
- What is there to do nearby?
- Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas, is about twenty-five minutes away. Schlitterbahn is about thirty, and Natural Bridge Caverns and the swimming holes at Wimberley are both about thirty-five.
- Are pets allowed?
- No. The house is pet-free and smoke-free.
- Is it a good base for a wedding weekend?
- Yes — it sits minutes from The Wheel and The Preserve on the FM 306 corridor, and sleeping eight makes it a practical place for a wedding party to get ready and land between events.

- Through Vacay Hill Country, who manage the house, or on Airbnb or VRBO. Booking direct is usually the best rate. Guests must be at least twenty-five to reserve, and parking fits four vehicles.
